Seven reviews. That is the whole sample. A 5.0 from seven people and a 4.7 from a hundred and twenty-five are not the same claim, and treating them as equal is how travellers end up disappointed. What the seven do tell you is that nobody has had a bad time yet, which is worth something on a tour this new. Read it as promising rather than proven, and if you want weight of evidence behind your booking, the backstreets walk has more reviews than every other tour here combined.
What the walk covers
Youth culture, fashion, music and the redevelopment that has been reshaping the station district for years. Shibuya is a good place to be told this in, because half of it is a building site and the other half is the thing people flew in to see. The guide handles photo support along the way. Food, drinks, hotel pickup and your transport to the meeting point are all on you.
Then the rooftop, 229 metres up on top of Shibuya Scramble Square, with the ticket already paid for. In daylight you get the 46th-floor SKY GALLERY glass and the open-air SKY STAGE above it, and on a clear morning the ridge of Mount Fuji sits out to the west. That is not this tour’s promise though, and I would not book it expecting Fuji.

Who should skip it
Anyone whose whole reason for going up is the city at night. The lights coming on is the thing people remember, and it belongs to the after-dark walk or the other evening options. Anyone who needs a large, settled review count before they hand over money. And anyone who does not care about fashion, music or urban planning, because that is two of your two hours.
